Quote a payment plan without re-entering the project.

Connect LightReach once, choose an offer in Payments, and follow the application through signing. Keep the project and its proposal in the places installers already use.

01 · ADMINProject Settings

Pricing & Financing → Finance providers. One organization connection.

02 · INSTALLERPayments

Check the design, select an offer, follow up on the application.

03 · HOMEOWNERPDF Proposal

Understand the selected plan. Complete credit and signing with the provider.

16 clickable screens, four journeys. Every organization, customer, rate and approval shown is fictional. This mock does not connect to a lender or send anything.

Walk through one project

  1. Connect the organization. Platform acceptance and dealer authorization are separate gates. Saving an organization ID does not make it connected.
  2. Start in Payments. Cedarline Solar has an 8.40 kW design, 12,600 kWh of estimated year-one generation and a $26,000.00 system price.
  3. Resolve the two missing items. Add the example utility bill and verify the inverter. Review what will be shared before requesting offers.
  4. Choose an illustrative lease. $145.00 per month in year one, $0 upfront, 25 years and 2.9% annual escalation. The PPA alternative is $0.135/kWh, with an estimated average of $141.75 per month.
  5. Invite the homeowner. Confirm the recipient before sharing the application. Credit details stay outside SurgePV in the proposed hosted flow.
  6. Follow the provider’s decision. Waiting, more information needed and declined each have a clear next step. A refresh does not manufacture approval.
  7. Review and send the contract. A valid quote and eligible application are required. Sending, sent and signed are distinct; signed does not mean funded.
  8. Protect what was signed. Duplicate a contracted design to explore changes. The 9.24 kW alternative needs new calculations and pricing; the 8.40 kW contract remains intact.

Keep the first release small

Keep cash and manually configured financing. Add one provider connection, one selected offer, a compact application status panel and a clear proposal. The pilot does not need a new top-level finance area, an offer marketplace or an installation dashboard.

FirstLightReach quote → application → contract; existing Payments and PDF Proposal.Platform approval, dealer activation, accepted production method and agreed application handoff.

Decisions to settle

DecisionRecommendation
Where should deal status live?Inside Payments for the pilot. Add a Finance tab only if several simultaneous deals make it necessary.
How should an installer connect?Org identifier plus partner-confirmed authorization. Keep platform credentials out of ordinary installer settings.
Which production data is accepted?Agree the model and design-platform approval with LightReach before enabling live offers.
How does the homeowner apply?Prefer a provider-hosted flow. Its availability needs confirmation; the public API example accepts sensitive data directly.
What about the other lenders?Show them as later scope. Never imply an API or active partnership before it exists.

What the extra research changed

The current contract API confirms that sending is asynchronous. The credit application example does not establish the hosted handoff proposed here. The design-package requirements make platform acceptance a separate dependency from a successful calculation.

Review again after the first partner technical call: confirm activation, hosted application support, proposal disclosures and the accepted production model. These screens are for product decisions, not evidence of a working integration.
